Our Team

Richard Lee, Principal and President
Richard Lee and his team provide executive and organization development services to accelerate the alignment, capability and impact of executives, their teams, and their organizations -- scaling for success.  As one of the first few Master Trainers in the country for VitalSmarts™,Crucial Conversations® and Crucial Confrontations™, Richard has led over 150 of these programs and was the top Principal Associate for VitalSmarts in 2005.  Through his consulting practice, Richard has worked extensively with some of the best companies and top management teams in Silicon Valley and around the world including Cisco, Genentech, Sun, eBay, and over 50 other Bay Area companies and throughout the world. He has developed a pragmatic yet energizing approach to building these skills for executives, managers and professionals.  Prior to starting his firm in 1994, Richard headed up Management and Organization Development at Silicon Graphics, 3Com, Advanced Micro Devices and Bellin Hospital.  Richard holds a M.S. in Management & Organization Development from the University of Wisconsin.

Traci Chevraux, Consultant - Trainer
Traci has provided training and consulting in the management and organization development field for over 10 years, with a focus on communication and leadership. Traci works out of Santa Barbara and has a broad background but works extensively with this material.  She leads Crucial Conversations®, for companies such as Cadence Design and Genentech, and has delivered other programs and consulting for Microsoft and others.  Traci earned her MA in Organizational Management from Antioch University.

Heather Corcoran, Consultant - Trainer
Heather specializes in the delivery of Crucial Conversations® and Crucial Confrontations™ programs. Heather’s combination of business experience, education, and executive development expertise allows her to work effectively with mid to senior managers to ensure they understand the program’s concepts and skills, and can apply them to current business situations.  Heather has worked with managers and executives from companies that include eBay, McKinsey, Adobe, Microsoft, Intel, and Bain & Company, and consulted to organizations that include Wells Fargo, Oracle, and the Stanford Business School.  She was Director of Marketing for Peet's Coffee prior to initiating her consulting and training practice.  Heather holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and professional coaching certifications from The Coaches Training Institute and New Ventures West.

Bob Daubenmire –Consultant Trainer
Bob brings 25+ years of experience of consultation in the field of organization development delivering executive coaching, crucial conversations, and alignment and change offsite design and facilitation. His domestic and international clients span 25 countries and among others include Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems and a myriad of others from the high tech, financial, health, and oil industries. Bob holds a Master of Science Degree in Organizational Development from San Francisco State University and an Instructor Credential from the California Community Colleges. Bob brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as well as an innovative and collaborative style to his work in assisting his clients in creating a future of their own choosing.

Eric Girard – Consultant Trainer
Eric Girard is an experienced consultant and facilitator specializing in organization, management, and employee development. His career spans over fifteen years of corporate experience. He has worked in a variety of industries, including high tech, academia, healthcare, and finance.  Prior to becoming an independent consultant and facilitator, Eric conducted programs for leaders, managers and employees of Symantec Corporation across the United States, and in Latin America and Europe.  Eric holds an MA from Arizona State University and a BA from California State University, Sacramento.  He holds certifications from Zenger Folkman, VitalSmarts, Novations, and other organizations

Stacy Kuehnis, Consultant - Trainer
Stacy has 15 years experience developing and delivering management leadership programs. Her engaging style, clever techniques, and relevant real-world examples enable clients to quickly develop more successful strategies to optimize their results. Stacy most recently headed up Management Development for Cadence Design. She has developed high quality, blended learning solutions for management, and engineering teams worldwide.  Stacy’s exemplary presentation and facilitation skills enable her to deliver all levels of programs in the right format at the right time. Her Masters Degree is in Education & Instructional Design from San Jose State University.

Mark Perkins, Consultant – Trainer
Mark Perkins leads Crucial Conversations® in such an engaging manner that he has groups consistently asking for more.    He has practiced and taught these skills as a therapist, college professor, author, speaker and Management Development Trainer/Designer.  He has advised and coached over 30 Silicon Valley companies in areas including conflict resolution, assertiveness training, communication skills, career coaching, public speaking, interviewing and employee development. He has a unique background of qualifications that include a Masters degree in Interpersonal Communications/Management and doctoral-level work in Counseling/Adult Learning.

Oren Pfefferman – Consultant Trainer
Dr. Oren Pfeffermann has led more than 700 interactive workshops where evaluations commonly say things like, “one of the best workshops I’ve ever attended.”
Oren’s enthusiastic delivery is authentic and entertaining.  His workshops motivate participants to take the skills they’ve learned and passionately put them to use for breakthrough results in areas they may have been stuck before.  For 20 years, Oren has worked at length with more than 10,000 leaders, managers, and their individual contributors in more than 30 of the top companies in the world, some of which include Adobe, Boeing, Cisco, Gap, Genentech, PG&E, Oracle, Toyota, Wells Fargo, & Yahoo!  His areas of expertise include communication skills, authentic leadership, coaching for managers, employee engagement, and ethically navigating organizational politics.  As a Master Trainer, he has certified more than 100 facilitators to teach programs for Blessing White (a global training leader).

Christine Richardson – Account Manager
Christine Richardson is an experienced account executive and a visionary.  She has a gift of taking complex business challenges and collaboratively shapes solutions that will drive our clients’ corporate initiatives. Over the past 20 years, Christine has had a proven track record in dealing with Fortune 500 companies.  In addition to being engaging and personable, analytical and proactive, and energetic and creative, she is passionate about finding relevant solutions that meet our clients’ needs.  Christine has a BS in Computer Science and is currently working on her MBA, HR.

Mark Sato, Consultant - Trainer
Mark Sato combines over 15 years of hands-on management experience in the financial services, healthcare, and software industries with equivalent years of leadership development and training success, including Crucial Conversations®. Clients – ranging from executives who want to improve their business units to managers in training sessions - consistently state that Mark understands their work world, doesn't waste their time, is engaging and entertaining. Most importantly, he helps them take practical actions to improve. Mark holds an MBA and most recently headed up U.S. management & leadership development at Oracle Corporation.
